Former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer discusses family history and patriotism and how they influenced not only his career decisions, but his values regarding family life. Currently, he is the President and CEO of his own company, Ari Fleischer Communications.
I can't imagine having family go thru what his family did.
I love to hear people's stories! I appreciate his comments on hard work and what to do to be successful. I also love the fact that family is a big piece of his life. Especially the mother talking to the daughter about her experiences. History will be repeated if it is not learned.
I appreciate hearing Ari's take on Abraham Lincoln's legacy, on his own family's legacy, and on the legacy he hopes to leave behind with his children. His family's experiences - from his parents escaping before the Holocaust through his own role with George Bush on 9/11 - speak to the individual family histories that make up our greater country's history. Great interview, and thanks for sharing.
I really enjoyed his story. I especially liked how he said we should learn from our past to make a better future.
What a wonderful story to listen to. It was powerful to hear Ari talk about his mother sharing their family history with his daughter. She shares the power of conviction even through the most difficult of times. It would be wonderful if more children took the time to listen to the living history book in their lives. What a powerful way to learn.
